It this, then that

We are making plans, just in case IKE really does slam Miami and Fort Lauderdale. We will be safe in our 19th story bunker. Hurricane glass, lots of supplies, candles and radio. H-Mom's sister and niece will evacuate from South Beach, though. And they would come to hunker down with us. They would be bringing along: We are imagining that the storm outside will divert Booker's attention from any feline disruption in the condo.

19th floor, wow. You could survive a tsunami. I would think a cat would distract Booker from the storm...rather than the other way around. Stay safe!!

Is that really safe? Mom has never been through a hurricane. Is the glass really unbreakable? Boy, you must be able to see everything?

Hope that you'll all be safe from Hurricane Ike. Must be scary! The thuderstorms in M'sia seems like peanuts relative to the storms you get in Florida.

Is a storm and cat invasion all at the same time a good thing? I hope all goes well.

Cheers

Fun, huh???

As you say, first this, then that. Our human grandpa lives over on three islands on the sixth floow of a condo. He hates to evacuate -- so while we get shuttered in, if need be, he just looks with aplomb at what may be coming. He'll be 97 next week!!!

(Right now, thinghs do look a bit better for this part of our world.)
