Condo Coonhound

Listening for the elevator to stop on "19" with that bing

Sitting politely on the elevator to get to "G"

Exiting and entering through the service entrance as requested

Of course, with that coonhound nose,
Booker can even find the correct door in a long, monotonous hallway

I'm glad they don't limit you to 20 lbs or 13 in. tall like my mom has encountered. We dogs pick up on any recurring signals, sounds or smells. He might know exactly how to escape now!

Cool! Even though we're sighthounds, we smell out our hotel room when we travel!

Hey, I've never been on an elevator. How do you like condo living? Over in Malaysia, dog's aren't allowed in many condos.

An elevator is weird. It's like a great big crate for humans and it moves -- I always YAWN when we are going down because my ears pop!

Service entrances are fun, aren't they? I love our super super because I've been playing with him since I was a pup and riding down the freight elevator. In my building I get to ride in our teeny little passenger elevator too. But sometimes if there's too many people in it, I get in but my tail is still sticking out and the door doesn't close. One time we fit 7 adults, me AND a big baby stroller in there. Boy was that squooshy!

P.S. Booker, do you do revolving doors? My old Uncle Boo the Eskie used to love them. He totally knew how to go through them. My mom hasn't tried with me. Something about I'm too big...

hmmmmm, biggie. know what? they don't have revolving doors in Florida! H-Mom just realized that! We guess it's because the weather is pretty mild and there isn't ever a HUGE HUGE cold chill issue to deal with ...

Hey Booker,

We hope you know that we are almost neighbors. We live in a townhouse in Plantation -- just off Pine Island Road, north of I-595. It's so cool seeing all your photos of places we (OK, our Mom and Dogdad) know and reading about our weather and other quirkinesses of our lives here in South Florida.

If you have no "issues" with wire fox terriers, maybe we could meet sometime. In the meantime, enjoy your special environment -- condo, elevators, riverwalk, etc.

Wirey woofs,

Jake and Just Harry
