Booker on the Arts

Booker is spending the morning at the gallery with H-Mom.

Booker is an art- and culture-friendly candidate. Posing at the gallery window is a great opportunity to take a stance in favour of local and state arts and humanities councils, and to advocate for support of the NEA. Booker is vehemently opposed to cuts in school art and music programs, believing that these are integral to the development of well-rounded, diverse, critical and creative thinkers.

Actually, Booker has a propensity to over-vocalize; H-Mom accessorized him with the citronella collar.

Shhhhhh
... no one appreciates a bombastic candidate.

The candidate's motorcade will be taking him back to the home office for some downtime around 1. A few hours is enough campaigning today.

We're with you on funding for the arts and for school art and music programs. Those are the things that turn the two-leggeds into good human beings. And then maybe they'll be good to us four-leggeds.

We've heard rumors about collars for us although lately we've been encouraged to bark loudly for our pal Jackson. Booker, check out what Axel has to say in a review his Mom does for the Swanky pup.

Mom wants to know if that citronella collar works, Booker! She said some days I talk way too much and drive her nuts! Why would she say a mean thing like that to me?!

Love ya lots,
Maggie

wellllll the citronella collar works really well because Booker HATES a spray noise of any type, not so much that he dislikes the citronella. He lets out one big BARK, it sprays, he cowers and then he shuts up. H-Mom knows that it's a coonhound's J-O-B to bark, so she really only puts it on when he MUST be quiet.

Booker -
I would love to hear your comments on that art. Maybe next time your mom can take a video.

Booker -- We need you -- QUICK-- we've been getting so many nasty flyers disparaging all the candidates for the August 26 primary here that we need someone like you to SPEAK UP for fair play!!! Alternatively, you could just chew up the flyers before they land at people's doorsteps!!

Would you consider running for election in our district??? Or do you have higher offices in mind?
