The sky

H-Mom is back. She had a difficult trip, but it is a trip that has made her thankful for a lot of things. Like being home. Like having a family. Like having a dog.

Like walking in the morning and watching the sun come up. Like appreciating the clouds, and the calm, and the vastness of the sky.

She is already looking forward to that bit of peace tomorrow morning.

It's always good for the soul to take time to be thankful for the little blessings in life - like us!

Where did your H-Mom go? And thank goodness she's back. I just got my P-Daddy back tonight and I am SO MUCH happier. I mean, I love my Momma and all, but the flock is not complete without P-Daddy and Momma.

Glad your H-Mom is back! My mum says it's often easy to overlook certain small things in life and never realizing how important or beautiful it is. Life is simple and beautiful in it's own way no matter where you are!

And as our mum always says 'If life throws you lemons, make lemonade!' We don't know about that, but heck we're happy as long as we get to lick mum's face everyday when she comes home!

My mom can only stand 5 days and then like she attached to a rubber band she comes back! It does make you appreciate home and those you love so much more.

You know, the skies were amazing last night and I believe lil Gizmo's huge heart had something to do with it. Atleast it makes me feel better if I think that way. You are right the pain of losing a pet sometimes makes you not want anymore of them at all...but for some reason we continue on this journey time and time again. I wanted to Thank you for your caring heart and love for us

Those clouds are awesome! It looks like the sky is smoking!!! Way cool!

Sounds like your H-Mom missed you. My human no longer takes vacations 'cause she realized that she always needs a vacation from her vacation. So instead she stays home and does stuff she would do if she didn't have a job...like adore me all day!

Sorry I haven't been around much to check on you and all, but you know...the human...blah blah blah!

Slurp!
