Job Description: Commander in Chief

Booker P. Washington.

A name synonymous with integrity and strength in defense.

An American original.

A working dog, strong of heart and tireless, with a record of proudly and bravely standing up for his country.

He has earned accolades (or at least attention) for vocally and persistently identifying border breaches.

He has proven his dedication to national security by tirelessly identifying enemy cells.

He has fearlessly entered hostile territory in pursuit of threats to his fellow citizen.

Booker P. Washington
.

A candidate strong on country.

Note: This may be a shamelessly biased candidate endorsement.

Booker, You are a handsome hound. And evidently you're important to national security. That's quite a combo. Most dogs could not stand under so much pressure.

Our mom thinks that dogs would be better than the current candidates any old day....and you are really handsome. However, our mom thinks that dogs lack the sticktoitiveness to keep the eye on the ball for four years. Do you think she is a naysayer?

Dear Booker,

We are very interested in your candidacy -- especially here in Floriduh where elections do seem to get out of paw -- but we would like to know your position on a troubling issue -- disrespectful cats -- before we enter the voting booth.

We were leaning to voting for our pal Tosca, but she has pulled a Ross Perot on us. A coon dog might just do the trick in straightening out D.C. Harry Truman once said "If you want a friend in Washington, get a Dog." We could all use a friend in Washington these days.

You are lucky you are near so many Blogging Dogs. Jake & JH and Buster come to mind.
